Hungary keeps refusing...

I'm Austria, and Hungary keeps refusing my offers to vassalise them. It's really getting annoying. They never get low stability either. I'm wasting alot of money to keep our relations above 190. Is it this hard for all of you to politicaly annex these guys?! How do you do it?

- have more provinces than Hungary?
- have a bigger army than Hungary?

Yes I have 10 provinces and she has 9, my army is bigger than hers too. I have all the requirements...what's wrong...

In that case, be even more powerful than him. 10-9 provinces and 21000-20000 men isn't enough to vassalize any State, as they will still feel that they can stand on their own against your views of domination.

It is much easier if you really outnumber him with masses of troops just behind the lines, ready to enter Hungary. It is more logic in that sense

i've got a problem. I'm playing as england. I have some german states vassalized. I have a) marriage, b) military alliance c)may more providences (england, scottland and ireland vs. 2 or 3 german states max) WAY more troops (around 50k vs 30k, not to mention a huge navy, does that count aswell?) and +200 relation, and they have been a vassal for 10 years. So to recap, i have EVERY bit of criteria down to annex peacefully. However, the Annex button never becoems yellow!! Only thing i get is Cancel Vassal. No wars, stability is always changing, sometimes + somethimes -. I dont understand it, What can I do??? Please this happends with more than one game/nation (in this game as england, i have 3 german vassals. In a russian game i had Pskov and Maldonia vassaled. same thing, had all critiea, Annex button stays grey)

Does ANYONE know what could be the problem?? Anyone?

I think you must have a common border to annex peacefully a State.
