I am so excited for the possibility of y'all being given some new mechanics to play with that could make a realistic (and terrifying) Spring Sickness and Greyscale a thing! Greyscale obviously is in the mod and the spring sickness sorta but the scope and specifics of both are things I really hope are made easier to reach with this new dlc

Plagues actually being a gamechanger and forcing periods of peace for recovery is a neat idea. There's only thing I'd deem missing (if it isn't there) and that's somehow being able to spread the plague to certain places. How about directing possibly sick refugees towards that one vassal that seems to be bothersome? Could be very neat if well balanced.

I'm sort of worried for the DLC, epidemics are pretty bad in the mod. I had half my family die within a few month period due to disease.
I've been playing around with Reaper and it look like that won't be an issue thankfully, with physicians (WHICH COULD BE SO FLAVOURFUL) and hospitals and shutting the gates and cats and such

It'll finally give Maesters a real purpose :D

Though The Citadel might inadvertently screw your family over by sending you one with a low learning score, and since you can't get another maester unless your current one dies.... Which might be avoided by giving maesters a trait increasing their learning by how much links they forged.

Yeah but that's actually flavorful because the Citadel sends bad Maesters off to people they dislike and are manipulative jerks

Though the Citadel should think twice about sending anyone with less than a level 3/4 education to a Lord Paramount, let alone a King.

Maybe there can be events involved, reflecting a bad or good relationship with the citadel? Also some actions you can take etc.
Good idea, but it seems like it could bog things down a lot, unless maybe only the player gets the deeper interaction and the AI just gets a random maester, maybe with a slight variation based on the ruler of the Citadel's opinion of you (I can't remember who that is - one of the Archmaesters, maybe?)

The 'best' thing that comes with this new expansion, I would think, would be that Mirri Maz Duur's treatment for Drogo can now be properly represented. ;)

You mean how she tried to actually save him as per Doran Martell's orders, but Jorah Mormont screwed it all up by bringing Dany into the tent after her very specific instructions of not to? :p

Well, and Drogo not fucking listening to MMD in the first place. He wasn't supposed to drink or remove his bandages or get icky stuff in them.

So, what's he do? Gets hammered every day and rubs mud (Which probably has horse shit in it) in his wounds.

No one ever said the Dothraki were bright. After all they're the same ones who tried to charge a Unsullied force head on. Repeatedly.
