I just bought EU2 for the third time today and was eager to try the new patches since I last had the game. I started it up out of the box just to see what version I had and it was v1.00. I went to the Strategy First site and DLed v1.07. I then started the game to make sure it updated, which it did. Note, I was able to start the game with v1.00 and 1.07 with no problems. I then DLed the Nov26th beta patch and the "Greatest AI patch" by Daywalker, if I remember his name correctly. I then tried to start the game and as soon as the game starts to initialize, I get kicked to a bluescreen with an error message- File Name -VMCPD(01) + 0000061C Error: 0D: 0028: C00582CB. I have no idea what this means so I figure its either the beta patch or the mod. So I uninstall and reinstall but now I can't start game with either v1.00 or1.07. I get the same bluescreen and error message that I first got after I DLed the beta patch and the mod. I have no idea what is going on. Any suggeastions would be appreciated.

Follow the manual uninstall proceedure for EU2, which you can find about a third of the way down in the self help thread.

For the Daywalker Mod, you would have to ask the maker of the mod.

When you reinstall just in stall the Game then the 1.07 then the beta patch, see if that works first before any user made mods.

I'm an idiot; I was unzipping the beta patch incorrectly and it was messing things up. Thanks for the help.:)

Glad you figured it out.
