I broke the world and I don't know how to fix it

So literally, every pop disappeared off the face of the earth and I don't know what caused it, and yes I verified game files

This is just in one particular campaign, is that right? You can start and play a new one okay/

No mods and whenever I start a new one.

I fixed it by deleting the history folder and verifying game files
