Hi,
I have Windows 7 now, but i still had this problem recently on Windows XP ( SP 3). When me or my mates host, the two of them who still play EU2, the other one cannot join, all it says is no game found at "IP address of host", which is definitely the right IP, as we have got it off Hamachi. However, once which must have been a complete fluke, we managed to get a game going but never again after that? I have a linksys router, but i dont think that is the problem, because my friends cant host either properly so any help would be appreciated?

The most common cause would be firewalls, after that an incorrect IP address. Note that you may have up to 3 firewalls; one in your router, one from Win7, and one you may have installed yourself.

Well, me and my mates switch off our firewalls when we are playing so surely that is no problem, and i think the IP address from hamachi is accurate is it not? Is there any way for me to possibly double check whether it is the right IP? Whoops, well i can stop McAfee, which is the firewall i installed, any help with opening/switching off the other two firewalls, or any sites i could visit that could help me? Thanks again :)

I've never used hamachi, and I think Paradox's official position is they don't support it. To confirm your IP address as seen by the outside world go to http://www.whatismyip.com/

For help on Win7's internal firewall you'd need some Windows help, I don't have Win7 here - try a Google for Windows7 disable firewall or something like that. For the firewall in your router you'd need to ask the router vendor.
