I can't log into Valkyrinet

It says trying to find list of games about 20 times before it times out. I have internet connectivity, I don't get it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

V-Net is down, have been down for a week now. Apparently the persons who can get it up again are on vacation.

In the meantime, try organise games here or over ICQ.

With IP joining you can have game with a buddy without VNet. It just needs to be organized via ICQ, forums or some other way. Little more complicated, but not having VNet working doesn't mean there can't be MP.

if you and your friend are not playing over LAN then you need to have the ports open I think.

it doesn't, we've already tried.

and quite frankly, opening ports is a nightmare for me (who obviously doesn't work in it... )

i've got a billion modem router (711), it does have a modern web interface, but i can't find anywhere that allows you to open certain ports..
