I can't plan my Grand Wedding

Description​

When I try to press on the "Start Grand Wedding" icon, it won't start and says: " ! Already involved in an Activity ".
My character is not at an activity.
My betrothed is a ruler and is currently not in an activity.

Steps to reproduce​

1. Arrange marriage between your character and ruler.
2. Promise Grand Wedding.
3. Click on the Plan Grand Wedding icon.
4. Try to click on Start Grand Wedding.
5. Read message: ! Already involved in an Activity

Had the exact same issue and reported in a thread above. I think this can be reproduced when you have a planned Grand Wedding and either one of the groom or bride are involved in another "activity" as defined by the game. This "activity" could even be commanding an army. This is the case of the groom in my save. He has been out on a war campaign for over year now and even though my daughter is free, just cannot complete the wedding. And there is no way to recall him. It is really unfair that the game does not prevent AI participants in a grand wedding from going off like this.

I'm playing ironman save too so cannot just load up an earlier save. For now just stopped playing this save and am waiting for a fix. Since alot of careful planning, which cannot really be reproduced, went into this union.

No, both me and my betrothed are at peace. Neither of us are involved in any wars. My character is my liege's Marshal and Presumptive Regent though.

That's it! Being a regent counts as an activity and can cause this bug.

Is it possible to step down as regent? I can't deal with the loss of fame and I need my alliance with my betrothed.

Good question. I looked and couldn't find a way to do that. My best bet is to wait for devs to fix this in next patch. And don't touch the save until then.

No worries. I ran into this last night and was mighty frustrated. But it encourages me that I'm not the only one experiencing this. The more people report it and are vocal about it, the sooner Paradox will fix it. There is simple fix to this I'm sure.

Thank for your reports. This issue was already reported on forums (as you have noticed) and we have it in our database, it was also highlighted to the Developers that Players encounter this issue en masse.
