I force count to yield claim on Italy king title but instead lose the kingdom

I beat a count who revolted but later pledged alliance to my vassal duke. I have forced to yield claim on my primary title (King of Italy). However instead I lost the kingdom and became King of Aragon (secondary title) and the count became King of Italy. I beat the count again and took my title back but now it is last on the list of king titles.

This happened not the first time. Once I lost title of King of Lithuania in the same way. I suppose this bug happens when you force count to yield title, who is at war with you but already belongs to your kingdom.

I don't know what causes the bug, but it is much better to let him keep his claim on the kingtitle, since that will increase your prestige so just take his counttitle and you will never be bothered with him again or let him keep his title (if you can't afford the BB hit) and let him keep his claim on you, as a count he can't do much to force his claim

And are you sure you choose the right option, there are 3 options (a green button, a red button and a grey button) in one of them you acknowledge his claim

It is impossible to give up your title when you win. I have tried before to give away titles to an independent landowners by beating them and then offering land for which they have claim however there was no even option to do it except to force them to yield the claim. Therefore I am pretty sure it is a bug.

The only thing you can do is to yield your claim.
