I uninstalled CK and the expansion a long time ago, so I reinstalled both just now. They download in seperate folders, (the expansion and full game) how do I make them work together? I think I did something wrong because whenever I start up the Deus Vult version of it it says it can't find gfx arial18 font or something. alot of other errors come up like no gfx gold_pallete or whatever, I think i did something seriously wrong, how do I apply Deus Vult to vanilla CK?

First, I think you need to install Patch 1.05 for CK Vanilla. Then just put all of DV on top of CK. Then patch DV with the beta patch.

what do you mean put dv on top of normal? I tried copying all the files in the DV folder and pasting them in the CK folder but it didn't work. btw, I downloaded from gamersgate, automatically came with latest patches(exclusing beta patch for dv) And the interface was all screwy. Do you mean I put the DV FOLDER inside the CK folder and it'll work peachy?

Once you download from GG, you need to run CK to load the game. Then run dv to load that and it will load into the CK folder. No sure what you mean by running DV and getting error.

Once you have downloaded CK and DV, first install CK then install DV on top of CK.

So when you install DV, check the path to see where it is going to be installed.

The default path for CK is

C:\program files\paradox interactive\crusader kings

DV should also be installed in that folder, you now probably have installed DV in a separate folder inside the crusader kings folder.

... and once you have DV installed correctly, remember to apply the latest beta-patch (from October 2008).
