I'll admit it, I'm a noob here, though I've modded other games before. My friend and I are working on a new scenario for Armageddon which will let us play in the 1990s. I have several questions and if anyone can answer anything I will greatly appreciate it.
No Time Limit - I've tried other No Time Limit mods before but my game would keep crashing. After examining a few of the files that the mod alters, I'm guessing that because I've added about a dozen new countries, the game keeps crashing. So my question is how do I change the beginning and end dates? I'd like to make the game start in 1990 and last until 2075 (just a random ending date). How would I do that?
Editing Territorial Claims - Several countries throughout the world have territorial claims on other countries, such as Germany gets to claim France. How do I edit these claims or is that hard coded? I haven't seen anything concerning this area with tutorials.
Editing Non-Aggression Packs - This is really similar to the Territorial Claims question, but how would I edit what countries have non-aggression packs with each other.
Events - I think I have events down because I figured out how to use an Event Creator that somebody made. But I do want to know would it be better to have one file full of events or twenty different files for say twenty different countries.
New Indoctrination System - I'd like to add a new system to the game so that if a country for example Germany takes over France dissent levels are automatically at the max, dark red for the map mod. The system I'd like to add will allow newly invaded territories to slowly be indoctrinated over time. So someone like the French who are Democratic will slowly become National Socialist at a rate of maybe 10 - 15% a year. Then if Germany takes over another Socialist Country, can't name one off the top of my head, they will become lovers of the Nazis at a rate of probably 25% a year. This means that if Germany annex a socialist country the territories will have very low dissent levels in 4 years after annexation while a country such as France will have very low dissent levels in 7 - 10 years. This way a conqueror wouldn't have to worry about building dozens of garrison units for hexes to keep them under control. Would something like this be possible or is it hard coded into the game preventing me from doing that?
New Tabs - Just as Armageddon, not sure about Doomsday, has a new Intelligence Tab, would it be possible to make new tabs for our mods or is it wishful thinking. I'm not sure what I'd be using them for yet but I'm just curious if something like this is possible.
