I know this thread will probably get moved, but I am having trouble with the conversion. I have all the keys installed in steam, but I cannot access the dlc's to install them although they come up as purchased. Also how do I deal with the metaserver connection? I try to re-register my game, but do not have the option and when I click on the gold lock to change the password all I get is a message that the password has been sent to the metaserver.

Also, the DLC's should automatically have been downloaded after activating them, if not, try verifying the integrity of the game cache:

* Go to your Steam games library
* Right click on "Crusader Kings II" and select "properties"
* Click on the tab "Local Files"
* Now click on "Verify integrity of game cache"
* Wait until this process is finished, if any files are missing/corrupted it will notify you at the end of the process and automatically start with re-downloading these files

You don't separately install the DLCs in Steam. They install when the game itself is installed. Do you not see them in the launcher?

Metaserver was taken offline some time ago.

You have CK2 registered here already, there's no need for or benefit to registering it a second time.

Have you signed onto the GG site? They ought to be there.

Little confused by CK2 GG->Steam migration

Just found out that we're all supposed to move from GG to Steam if we want to continue to receive patches for CK2. I just checked my GG account games library to see what DLC I've purchased, and I've noticed something new there—the CK2 DLC Collection. It appears to be a rollup of all extant DLC packs for CK2. I'm not sure whether I ever purchased or received such a thing as a gift, because it doesn't show up in any of my archived invoices. It also doesn't display an activation code button, so... I'm not sure why it's there or what to do about it. Is it related to the migration somehow?

It is likely related, however I am not entirely sure why it is there as it seems to be non-downloadable and has no keys attached to it. If I am correct all the people who purchased CK2 through Gamersgate have got this. Best to contact Gamersgate support, I don't have any info on it unfortunately.

The CK2 DLC Collection is very probably there, so that you can still download DLCs for your GG variant if you want/need to.

I just copied a folder, deleted dlc24, checked in the ingame store and could redownload it.
So everything's just as it should regarding this.
