i need advice on preventing CTD ...

so, I think all of you have some tips on preventing a CTD, especially during MP
it's really a heavy strike when it crash when you are persuading friends to play the game..........................

I only know ICQ will make HOI CTD until minimized

can anyone share some tips?

Voodoo. A couple sacrificial chickens, maybe a live snake. Seems to work best.

What exactly do you mean, you mean crashed on load? Or during the game? If it's the former, go here:

I my proffesional opinion voodoo does not work as well as sacrificis a goat to the all mighty pingvin.

All the normal stuff. Update video driver to latest version. Make sure your using 1.03b no mods for MP. install 1 version specifically for MP is the easiest way to go. Close all those dumb background apps. Scan for spyware and viruses.etc.

Voodoo may not work as theres so many different releases of the game. Maybe try ZEN ...that helps and also reduces stress in the process.
