i need help

just installed the game, i run it, it is loading all the stuff then it stops.
get a message saying rome has stopped working, does this everytime. can't play the game. i want to, please tell me how to fix this

What does the message read? If the disk itself is defective, you'll probably want to bring it back to the store and swap it out for another copy.

By the way, consider registering to the board. You'll get more access to the forums.

Might be a Windows issue, then. What version of Windows are you using?

Otherwise, I suggest returning it to the place of purchase.

Do you have DirectX9.0c and the latest drivers for your video card? I'll move this to the tech forum to see if you can get some more help.

Have you done everything in the CRASH sticky thread, above? Especially the 1.1 patch, and checked for video driver updates.
