OK playing as minor country i have a serious problem. It's the lack leaders. Can someon pls help me how to add more leaders into my save game since i don't want to abandon my current campaign

The other reason is: i'm playing WW1 mod on Armar. When i load my save game all my leaders disappear except those who leading the army (but they also disappear when i remove them) :eek:! How can i fight without leaders! :eek:. When playing on vanila HOI2 this thing didn't happen but i don't want to manage sliders and supply myself
 
It's fairly easy. All you have to do is find another country's leader files (in the db/leaders folder I believe) and paste them into your country's file. You may have to change the leader ID number before each leader's name so that it starts with the code for your country, but I'm not sure.

There's very few posts even in the main forum, to get someone to answer question in the sub-forums would be incredibly rare

Just thinking about this. In vanila HOI2 Lt.generals can command 3 divisions but in this mod they can command 4. Just wonder how modders do that. So i can modifier to make major generals can command 4 or 9 division:rolleyes:

Or simpler go back to WW1 install on HOI2 vanilla and learn how to use sliders,trade and supply convoy (always let AI control them before :eek:o)
 
1. Edit a picture of yourself using from jpg to bmp format and save it in images/country. Dimensions 36x50. (Check your country's other pictures for comparison)
2. Edit the DataBase of leaders of your country using excel. just write Nhinhonhinho and select a skill etc. save and exit

Thus you may have a skill 6 FM with commando, offensive, panzer, winter specialist traits named Ninhoninho !!! :D

Since i can't add ME in the save game so i'll play a new game and maybe AAR too. Glory await for ME :p

Oh, duh, I forgot completely about the game editor! I was just thinking about the way I did it in vanilla HoI2.
 
Are you playing arma? If so then the editor will be useless and just corrupt your games. I think it does the same for DD but I'm not entirely sure
 
Hi nhinhonhinho,

To answer your initial second question; I think it is due to the startyear of your leaders. Like the default tech teams, the leader's default startyear is 1930. So if you want to use those in 1914, you will have to adjust that. Not 100% sure if that is the cause, but it might be worht investigating.

Have fun with yourself as leader though!
