Computer crashes during loading InitGame

What platform are you playing on?
Steam

What game version are you running?
1.0.1 1.0.2

Please select any/all DLC you have enabled.
Hellenistic world flavor pack,
Epirus flavor pack

Do you have mods enabled? No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
While loading the game it crashes my entire computer during the InitGame phase of the process. It happens for both 1.0.1 and 1.0.2.
1.0.0 November bug+performance issues
1.0.1 Crashes laptop at InitGame
1.0.2 *Updated* After reinstall. Loaded once. Uninstalled and deleted all the folders for a fresh reinstall. Same thing at InitGame. Laptop locks up.

I'm not sure which exact AMD GPU/chipset you have from that description, but first thing to do is install the latest 'optional' driver 19.4.3 from here:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

If that doesn't help you may have the same problem as this guy:
