Sieging Enemy Civil War Provinces Automatically Declares Piece and cannot keep land

Hellenistic world flavor pack, Epirus flavor pack, Magna Graecia Content Pack, Epirus Content Pack, Heirs of Alexander

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Neighbouring nation that I have claims on falls into a civil war, I use the opportunity to declare war on the 'rebel faction'. As siege leader I siege down the rebels but the war automatically ends and the occupied province goes straight back to the previous owner, also ending their civil war. My army becomes exiled on the city they just sieged.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Siege down rebel provinces ends other faction civil war and automatically grants them the land my army sieged.
