i would love it too. +naming cities or any other places like moutains etc.

+1

And also, to make stops auto-nameable based on the street/region/landmarks they're closest to. "Stop1, Stop2, Stop3" doesn't help me. "High Street/Juniper Way, Town Hall, Municipal Gardens" is a much more sensible naming system and means you can see what's going on more easily.

Information, information, information. The more we can see at a glance, the better the game becomes.

and speaking of naming - let us label our vehicle routes with numbers AND letters !!! I want label my metro as U1 or M1 as you normally have it in any city of the world.
I still don't get it why all this useful labeling was taken away from CiM2, nobody demanded to drop this feature in the sequel of CiM.

Yes, please. And more then 16 characters (or whatever we have right now) as well. And while we're at it a sorting system lol

I don't understand why CO restists the labeling of streets and routes. Because already all automatically get labeled, so it should be really peanuts (programing-wise) to enable manually labeling of streets and routes.
This is so an easy thing to add a bit more atmosphere to the game and it should be available from the beginning, everybody demanded it, but even after more the one year from the release we don't have it.

Too bad that CIM2 will never live up to its potential, because first one year ago they rushed out the game because of the unsuccessful release of Simcity (maybe acceptable to make use of it) and second later they didn't deliver the missing features to a semi-finished game.
And too bad that I preorderd it - my first and last preorder experience, I have learned my lesson. The only good thing was that I preordered when I was in South America and I could order in US$ (19,99 US$ I believe) and later through my credit card it was some 15 Euro - so the loss was negligible ;)
