Does the IA take a CB hit when declaring war on you? I kicked off one of those continental wars yesterday but noticed that the other nations stability never took a hit, even when they had no CB and we were the same religion. Everyone hates me since I annexed England early in the game before they got American colonies. I've slowly been working my way diplomatically through the Italian peninsula until I realized I can't annex the Papal States since I can't marry. My BB was 50 in 1530. I've been sitting back and relaxing until now (it's 1590) but then got bored and decided to do another land grab.

Also, I think the IA is a little stupid when it comes to BB. Poland and Austria declared war on me, lost a large number of troops just getting to me (I'm France) and then lost them in battle. Turkey and Russia then delcared war on Poland and chewed it up. Netherlands also declared war on me and while I had a hard time fighting them off my two small armies in North America burned 9 trade outposts and an unprotected city. Netherlands ended up getting 250D for their troubles but lost all their NA holdings.

Well, i noticed that when time proceeds and you keep annexing/conquering other nations, the AI gets a permanent CB against you. In my last game (Brandenburg) almost all of Europe had a CB against me, cuz my empire was JUUUST too big :)
