I have some ideas to improve the game “cities skyline” on console.
Such as:
- unlocking all 25 tiles of land
- adding a traffic manager for the roads
- adding an optional choice for mods on console like the Bethesda games “fallout” and “Skyrim”

I sincerely believe that this game is not reaching its full potential and would personally like to make sure these ideas are seen by the developers and designers of the console version of “cities skyline”

These topics have all been discussed before. If you just search the forums you will find multiple threads on them. I believe the main reason these have not been added is due to hardware limitations. With mods in particular the devs have to add them themselves (along with help from the original mod creators) and that takes time and money away from developing DLCs. The game also wasn't designed for more than 9 tiles.

Larger mods like Traffic Manager Presidential Edition could be scaled down to work on consoles as a sort of Lite Edition. Simple features like changing the lane arrows would go a long way to helping those of us on console.

I would LOVE it if Lane management and slip lanes and everything would be implemented. Basically the stuff from TMPE but without the smarter AI, that would really slow the game down when you get a bigger city

Changing lane arrows would still be a massive changing to the traffic AI and has been discussed before. The developers say even this can impact performance enough that it isn’t worth putting in vanilla.

We are unlikely to see any of those suggestions I’m afraid due to the base game’s performance with the limited hardware consoles have to work with. Even some high end PCs struggle with TMPE so our chances are pretty much nil. I agree that even just ability to set our own lane arrows would be a huge boost but as stated above it’s very unlikely to happen

There are other limits that cause problems with a larger card.

But yes, if you build everything, the space can become tight.

I understand but they should at least try. I dream of a city that I can build on console that is an industry(with harbors and ports), "tourist trap" and office/commercial powerhouse with huge CBD's.

Will we ever be able to plop the growables on console? I cannot think of any excuse why this wouldn't be possible and it is so annoying to wait for the buidlings you want... and having specific buildings in certain areas is crucial if you have the slightest ambition to make your city look realistic just a little bit.

i agree, as far as mods go, being able to plop specific buildings shouldn’t be that m h of a stretch for console users. The assets are already in game as it is. The only limitations are not having the Move It mod and surface painters to fill the gaps and position buildings in a realistic manner

Additionally: be USA friendly. Scrap the soccer stadium match day asset and give us either American football or basketball with the same functionality as the current match day soccer field/team. That would be awesome imo.

the campus varsity sports arenas have this functionality if they are not placed inside campus zones so it is possible to have a standalone American football stadium :) obviously only if you have campus DLC though

I don'tbut also I'm not (yet?) really into the campus stuff. I wish there was a more careful thought put into the match day feature when it came to regions and stuff.

Just started playing this a few days ago and have been having a spectacular time. I ran across a couple of things I'd like to see added/improved on the game. I would like to be able to preview the map before selecting it when starting a new game so I can determine if I want it or not. It seems I have to select the map and start the game to see the layout of the land before I can determine if I want it or not. I would like to see that option available on the map selection screen: an option to preview the map prior to selecting it.

Additionally, I'd like an undo button or option in-game. I accidentally deleted a part of a roundabout that I needed and since it was included in the default map—not built by me—I didn't feel up to rebuilding the parts I'd deleted. An Undo button or option would have provided an option aside from either rebuilding it or starting the game over.. unless, of course, there is an option I haven't considered or am not aware of.

They need to at a minimum add traffic manager mod and fix the totally broken Cemetary mechanic where only 1 freakin hearse is used from each Cemetary. This issue is killing this game for me. Why does only 1 hearse used? Totaly broken, terrible expierence.

I would love to see more types of roads, particularly more country roads and highways without streetlights. I would also love if they added smaller power lines on wooden poles. I think both would add a ton of realism to the game, especially if you are building a more rural setting. Plus, the smaller wooden power lines can be used to transport power to remote assets such as the fire watch towers and even radio towers. The limitation of only being able to use the large power lines is unrealistic and can create a lot of clutter. I‘m not saying to get rid of the current power lines, but I would love to see them add additional smaller power lines for remote and residential areas.

I would love Pebble village roads, Commercial/Residential Zoning that doesn’t have to be placed roadside instead a walkway off the road like the Old Shopping Street Asset.
Could you add the ability for power to be transferred via roads or even underground.
Would it be possible to have ploppable very large Fountains so that they can be placed in the center of roundabouts the current park one is way to small.
Is it possible for water utility buildings to be placed underground like I have in where I live.

Well, I don't really need any of the above. I can manage traffic in healthy 85-95% no matter how big or small my city is.
One just have to learn the game and use the road network that does not require mods to function properly.
As for the number of tiles, if you can't built nice and functional city on 9 tiles, you won't do it on 25 tiles either.
Match day is just fine, although they don't have a license for all stadiums anymore, so the PC version is better.
On the matter of stadiums, the developer being from Europe, it's only logical they would go with actual football, not NFL handegg, the actual football played by everyone in the world except some 300M Americans and few enthusiastic leagues outside US. Furthermore, there is an NFL stadium available in Campus DLC so theres that.

What I would love to see is the asset editor. Still can't really understand why is it so hard to give us the option to edit game assets and make our custom parks, walkways, interchanges and save them for the use in the city.
It takes couple of hours to build a proper complex interchange and we have to do it from scratch every time :(
