IGC 2.1 question

I just downloaded IGC 2.1. Now I am assuming it will work with EU 1.09 when the NA version finally arrives. SHould I update in any particular order?

AFAIK the patch should come first seeing the readme always states "make xure u have the latest patch ..."

The safest way to avoid problems is to un-install EU completely and then re-install EU, apply the latest patch (1.09) then load IGC 2.1.
