Hello
I had a question regarding the IGC installation. Does it overwrite the current setting of EU. I am always a bit scared of overwriting existing files ever since I did it with another game, which I had to reinstall afterwards (never trust software from dutch programmers ;) )

If so which directories do I have to backup to be able to restore the original settings?
BTW from what I read in the readme it looks very interesting and with the generator thing it will be more like other strategy games with a random setup.

Kind regards,
Willem
PS is it still easy to beat the Spanish as France :p

Yes, IGC overwrites some files.

The best solution IMO is simply to copy your current EU folder and rename it EU IGC. Then just extract the IGC into the new folder and you will be able to play both vanilla 1.09, 1.09+IGC and even down the line upgrade to 1.10 & 1.10+ICG without any hassle =)

You should start the game by clicking on europa.exe in the "right" folder and not from the CD (since it only opens the europa.exe in the originally installed folder).
