Impire wont start.

Came back to play impire however It wont start from steam. It started once, and i changed the display to fullscreen and bumped up the graphics, it wanted to restart and since then it has not started. Steam will start however after 3-5 seconds it will just end itself. Looking at processes its not even starting, I manually edited the config file to disable fullscreen as i thought that might be an issue, I also disconnected it from the cloud. But it still refuses to start. I also verified the integrity of the files and no change. Finally i restarted my computer and unistalled and reinstalled impire. However it still refuses to start.
Any help would be great as this is frustrating.
