So I recently played a 867 Norman game, but the lag towards 1100 became so bad to the point of being almost unplayable.
I then had the idea of tweaking the game rules to indirectly reduce the number of characters in the world:

- Plague Frequency, Very Often: self-explanatory, more plagues = more death = less characters = better performance
- Random Harm, Tragic AI Only: by having frequent harm events (for the AI, I don't want to deal with that) the number of characters would be lower overall
- Domain Limit, +1: with larger personal domains, landed characters are less likely to create more Counts with courtiers of their own
- Max Landless Adventurers, 50 or 100: presumably less impactful than other options due to adventurers not having many courtiers, but nonetheless

Please let me know if this plan is viable.

Or simply activate a Mod, who removes India from the Game.

The most Performance loss of CK3 comes from having India and Africa on the Map, Game runs pretty good, if this 2 Regions does not exist.

Its almost like adding vast swaths of land with no interesting content just bogs down the game and makes the game objectively better when removed but yeah lets add china instead

I hope to offer players the opportunity to select the map area. For example, you can choose by selecting "Duke", "Kingdom", "Empire", etc. In this kind of mini-map scenario, it might enhance the performance of the game in the later stage.
