It really makes no difference, once he settles down and has to found his capital they would be formed anyway and can be changed based on where he puts his capital

The only reason I am hesitant to do it as even if you win as say the Stormlands the event for the crownlands title to be conquered happens anyway if he attacks each area, also it make sure Aegon has some land to be directly his own if he wins. In the lore the crownland areas that were only recently conquered by each of those kings were visited first and gotten to swear to Aegon.

Couldn't the movement of those lands happen as a win condition instead of a declare war condition?
It isn't even moved in the declaration of war it is done when the event to choose westeros fires, I was working around with it and it does work fine the only issue is that generating the tooltips is annoying to do for the King's Landing and Dragonstone capital choices as I cannot just do a set tooltip it would have to be a bunch of ifs to see what is sworn to them and what is not but I'll have a look and if I like the way it looks will probably include it for the next update

Related: When Aegon conquers Essos, he gets no crownlands, and in fact, if he decides to settle on Myr or Volantis, the previous rulers still keep most of their titles there. Could we please get an option to create a "crownlands" in the Disputed Lands?
The crownlands titles is superfluous in this case, Aegon just gets the title he settles at whilst letting the previous holder stay with the duchy to stay as a merchant republic, making the crownlands out of a few counties would be rather pointless when the existing title can just be transferred over
