This would be a total DLC thing I would pay anything for. I would love this.

I think that there should be a new feature in-game: The mod designer!

You can add nations, provinces, rivers, plus more!

Note: This would all be available once you press the "mod designer" button on the main menu.

Province designer: Basically, you get to look around the EU4 world like you do when you're select a nation to play as. Except there is a menu on the right with the following things:
- Create new province
- Edit existing province
- Remove province

Clicking "create new province" would bring up a new interface where you can select whether you're creating an island or creating one entirely on land. If you're creating an island, you can "paint" the province on the water. Once you have created the base province, you can edit height, terrain, name, and all that other crazy fun province stuff. If you select a land province, you can drag your mouse over the land to create the borders of it. Once that is done, you can set the same things as above.

If you edit an existing one, you can move the borders, rename it, and change all the same settings as above.

If you're removing it, you have to edit the province borders around it to fit or select it to be a colonial province.

If you're adding a nation, you must first select its capital and name. Then, like the nation designer, add provinces, leaders, traditions, historical idea groups, national ideas, religion, culture. Except there is not a points limit. You can also use provinces you made for the mod with the nations.

You can also edit nations, giving/removing provinces, changing their name, changing rulers or ideas, religion, and it's basically the nation designer, you just get to edit instead of add.

Or you can remove them.

If you're adding or editing, you can also make them vassals of another nation too.

You also get to add rivers and edit the terrain! You get to select the river's path. You also can change the terrain of a province.

One more thing: Adding trade nodes! You can add trade nodes!

This would probably be a DLC but it would cause a growth in the modding community and there would be more random mods! Yay!!!!

This probably sounds like a stupid idea to some (or most) people. If this would not work at all with anything then please just tell me and I will do something to this thread!

But it sounds like a good idea to me.

This is almost certainly impossible.

However, some of what you're looking for can be done in the Scenario Editor, which is a very useful modding tool. https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...cing-a-scenario-editor-and-map-viewer.707474/

Eh. I knew that would happen. Well, maybe when EU5 comes out this could be added. The province editor is similar to games with map editors in terms of raising the height in stuff.

Well, that sucks.
