Independence to Colonies

Hi, I'm playing as the UK and I was wondering how I am supposed to grant independence to my colonies?

I have played as other nations in the game and seen Britain grant independence to Eritrea in 1951, and Sudan in 1956 etc.

However now I am in 1959 in my UK game and I still have received no events or anything like that.

Presently we don't allow arbitrary granting of independence to colonies in the game... this is primarily of interest in Sandbox mode, and is something we are looking at adding in a future update.

Independence

Independence is scripted to happen within given windows that align to historical time lines. Funding colonial governments can modify these events to happen sooner or later, and of course other conditions need to be in place for the region to split from its parent.
