For some reason Cities; Skylines has taken too long to start. (0x8027025a)
Downloaded the update 6.30am UK time. Have done 6 hard resets. Only managed to load the game once. The game kept pausing, assets only half spawned in. When I tried to quit, it froze on the quit game screen. Then Xbox Youtube/Internet Explorer/Netflix/Dark Souls got the same error code - taking too long to start. Before you all say it's my Xbox, after a hard reset I loaded other games/ apps that worked perfectly. I did this several times. I shouldn't have to do a hard reset every time I want to TRY to load the game, let alone actually play it. All other apps/games have worked perfectly until this Cities Updates. Now I don't want to bang the same drum, but every time a new update accompanies a DLC there are major issues. I understand there are complexities in porting DLC over but even so... As I watched the threads yesterday, full of people complaining they couldn't install updates and not play Industries, part of me was a little sad that there are no DLC's of substance to look forward to in the future. Then again after the MAJOR issues each DLC brings, I'm not so sure. You may think my last few sentences are a little harsh but they are indeed true and to be quite frank I'm not happy about it Each DLC is met with an air of resignation about what in the game it will break or render unuseable. Any solutions or fixes would be most appreciated. Thank you
