I believe that since Ethiopia can get a special militia sprite (that rocks!) and Nachinus' infantry sprites are great! But I believe (especially with C.O.R.E. where there is Syria, Lebanon and Egypt) that the Arabic and Muslim countries (maybe not Turkey though) should get their own sprites. Also I think that China should get a sprite (either for their militia or infantry). Of course if I knew how to make sprites and had a program to use it, that would also be great (Is the program most of you are using free?)!
I'm making a new thread because nobody really responds on the sprite request thread and I think with all the ships, tanks and planes that infantry should also get some attention.

I couldn't agree more, I posted on the Stony forum that I'd like to see new infantry units also.
For example Germans with long-coats, various commando units, and other infantry sprites.

I think infantry is the most important sprite in the game because you always have more of them than others.

Yes, it does seem that sprite making has grounded to a screeching halt, I made this thread so long ago that my expecations of anybody making new infantry sprites is pretty low. Of course if anybody is willing to make new sprites or at least tell me where to get some software and where I could learn to make them myself, that would also be appreciated.

Do you happen to know where to find 3d models of an infantryman? Milkshape models, preferably. ;) But POV-ray might work...

We of the TGW team are also quite keen to find a sprite specialist who can model infantrymen, especially as we need sprites of German soldiers wearing pickelhaubes, British soldiers wearing either a soft cap or a dishpan helmet, and maybe even Turkish soldiers wearing the Enver Pasha hat.

At the moment we're still relying on the standard Second World War versions - it would obviously be more suitable if our infantrymen looked the part.
