Install failing to complete

So i'm trying to install EU: Rome Gold from GamersGate, and when it gets close to finishing a popup appears that says "Europa Universalis - Rome is not installed", then it says "Europa Universalis - Rorme Vae Victis is not installed". After that it finishes, telling me that it has completed the installation. But the only thing that's in the folder that it installed to is a file titled "License_EN_UK"...

If the Gamersgate installer is not working, you'll need to contact them on support@gamersgate.com . But did you try deleting the installer and downloading it afresh?

Yup, have tried multiple times too.
Sent a message to GG, hope they can fix this.

When i uninstalled it a while ago i guess it left behind the .exe or something. As when i ran a 3rd party uninstaller to dig out any possible files that it could of left behind the installer worked
