Install GG Privateer on Steam EIC

Hello!

I bought EIC via Steam (cheaper there) and the addon Privateer via GamersGate (to use up my points).

Now when I try to install Privateer it always says "EIC not found on PC" or so.

Uninstall and reinstall didn't work.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

unfortunately different download portals use different installers, DRM etc which means you usually can't install an add-on from any other source than the one you bought the original game from.

So if you bought the game from Steam, then you have to get the Privateer expansion there as well.

If you send me your username on Gamersgate I'll give you your bluecoins back for Privateer.
