I had a major problem installing the game on my PC. In my house we have 2, one downstairs with a nte connection and an older one upstairs.
The older one didn't meet the Victoria specs, so I started to install down stairs. However, at about 44%, when the game was installing the scenario files, I repeatedly got an erroe that caused it to quit.
I managed to install first time upstairs, even though the error said that a file was missing from my CD. However, it turns out that a symbol in one of the province files names (France_Rhone_alps or someting) could not be recognised on this PC. I had to resort to transfering the 3 files in question by floppy disk down here, and then proceding with a normal install. I pressume it was my CD re-writer drive that has the problem, as the identical file on a floppy disk was fine, however, I did try in my DVD drive as well and it did not work.
Thought you guys ought to know, I've been waiting for the UK release since last November, and it cause me considerable distress.
