I seem to have a hard time installing the game. I have downloaded Rome perfectly fine, but don't know what to do. I click autoplay and the menu comes up, but when I have a choice to install and I click it I get a message saying.

"Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components"

I have all the requirements and I can play the demo perfectly fine. Can anyone help me?

btw, I can play EU3 fine too.
 
I heard some advice that to install I must go to the downloader. I go there and don't see it. I then see that I should reinstall it. But I can't! It doesn't even start, all it says is intializing...Wait!

What to do? :confused:

EDIT: 10 mins later the install button comes up. Problem solved.

I have the same problem. I have finally installed the game from the downloader, but the installation is in English and not in Italian and I don't know how to resolve the problem. I also tried to modify the file settings.txt (writing italian near language), but the game cames out whith a lot of mistakes. Who can help me?

The game doesnt support italian (I know there is partial support in the translation files, but not for all translations).
 
btw. if you are installing and on vista. make sure you run the installer as administrator.
