I'd like to install agc-eep 1.55 deluxe, but i've seriously modded MyMAP on my computer. EU2 is clean 'though. I have an AAR going on MyMAP so i'd like to keep my savefiles. Can i just install the patch, or should i uninstall everything first, and then install?

I don't think there is conflict between MyMap and AGCEEP but I'm not really sure.

Make a backup of the entire EU2 folder (with MyMap included) and try to install AGCEEP. If something goes wrong with one or both mods, revert with the backup.

Another safe solution is to have two separate installs of EU2 or use Mod launcher.

I fully recognize location of CoTs in Europe but map is wrong. Did you use map mods before?

And AGCEEP Deluxe requires EGUFSM for shields (see difference between Venice or Dauphiné included in AGCEEP Deluxe and others).

i've got moddir installed, in it is MyMap(works fine), OWMyMAP(idem), WATK(idem), Vanilla 1.09(idem), interregnum(can't load), AGC-EEP 1.55Deluxe(very buggy), DarkAges(works), 476(works)

EDIT: I forgot to unpack EGUFSM :eek:o thanks Yodamaster! :)

Something went wrong somewhere. AGCEEP is not really buggy. Quality control is maybe one of the best...

Be aware mods like MyMap modify the map and possibly EU2 original files. AGCEEP doesn't. Situation with screenshot you posted is exactly the result of such problem but AGCEEP is not the cause. EU2 seems no more clean on your computer.

Well, after unpacking the EGUFSM everything seemed to work well, no bugs, everything in place and all, so thanks again Yodamaster, and sorry for wrongfully calling your splendid mod 'buggy'.

The EU2 files seem untouched. It's all in separate folders so, as you said earlier, the MyMAP files don't interfere with EU2 (must say i don't really know what i'm talking about, so if mistaken, beg me parson)

Cheers! :)

BAT file for MyMap should clean needed modifications of EU2 files. Maybe you just forgot to let it finish its work last time before using AGCEEP.

Well, i don't really understand what you mean, should the MyMap BAT file be cleaned? How do you clean it then?

I guess something IS wrong, because the game crashes every time before 1500,when playing AGCEEP 1.55 deluxe, that is.

Also, when played at lower speed, say in a mp game, is the game less likely to crash then?

BAT file of MyMap copies some needed files in EU2 directory, replacing original Paradox files. On exit, original files should be restored.

It could be a problem in AGCEEP 1.55 but already identified and fixed right now. Do you have a savefile just before the crash (or CTD)? If yes, please send it to me at yodamaster @ agceep.net

No, speed doesn't have much to do with CTDs.

okay, now it crashed in 1664, i have a save from 1647, will that do?

i just have to copy the save file to the messagebox to send it?
Yes and yes but CTDs can happen not really because of AGCEEP, but EU2 itself.
if it is the case, it won't be easy with a savefile 20 years before the CTD. So many things can happen.
