I want to test kasperus map without deleting my mymap. However it's impossible to duplicate it as the files are so different from plain 1.09. Is it any way to trick the installer so it doesn't recognize that Eu2 is installed? so I can install another version from CD.

Possibly. But KaRei's Mod Launcher would probably be a lot easier. :)

Mod Launcher is the easiest way, otherwise you can simply make a copy of the whole eu2 directory and create a new shortcut pointing to it and then mod that one - that's afaik the only way to do multiple installs.

Multible installs:
1. Rename your current EU2 folder to something else, any name is ok.
2. open Setup from EU2 CD (not in autostart)
3. Reinstall the game
yey you got 2 EU games. Takes a lot less time than copy
