Hi,
always wanted to give CK a try, so I just bought the Complete version. It is already patched to 2.1 beta as I see. Nevertheless, I cannot play. The game begins to load, says something about initializing provinces and that's it: CTD.
I'm running Win7 Pro 32 bit here, tried with and without compatibility mode, nothing. Reinstalled, downloaded the 2.1 beta patch here and installed it over the already existing 2.1 beta game, moved the game into another directory and set the graphics to match my screen's resolution.
The exception log is empty by the way.
Yesterday it was EU3, today it is CK. I begin to wonder whether Paradox games and my computer are just not meant to work together...
What can I do now? Help?!?!

After moving the game back into the directory it has been installed to and changing the resolution in settings.txt the CTD disappeared. One problem solved, but here is the next one: Now, the screen is flickering, as if it turns black every now and then for about half a second. Any fixes for that?
