Download Interregnum 1.05.
A huge thank you to panther-anthro for gearing up and getting involved. Most of the new material is his.
Bughunting
Added NOT = { exists = XXX } to events where the country can potentially make another version of itself.
Cahnges some items in the text.csv that Waishi found to be incorrect.
Housekeeping
Altered the continent for North African coatsal provinces west of Cyrenaica to Europe. Increased the tax value and manpower of Tripolitania and Tunisia.
Silesia province is now Polish culture and Silesia the country begins with Polish culture, not German.
Removed MAG as a tag referring to the german city of magdeburg. ALT will now cover it as Altmark for all purposes, freeing up this tag.
AI Events
Modified the fortress gaining events. They were designed to help the ai get forts in colonies, because they are never smart enough to build them and lose control too easily, but the events went a bit out of control. Now there is just one and each country can get it only once.
Almujadid Empire
Added two new events including the gaining of Sicilian culture.
Brandenburg
Now has a succession crisis. This begins with the death of the last Hohenzollern and triggers a series of events to see who gets the pie. The claimants are Saxony and Poland, with the Emperor (Bavaria) also deeply interested in the outcome. It can also chose (very small chance as ai) to elect a new monarch from a Brandenburg noble house. Typically leads to Saxon inheritence.
Burgundy
Added a command to ensure that the right Burgundian and French flags work for the Burgundy that does not give up its claims on France.
Cossack Hetmanate
Corrected a number of errors in the scheduling of events for the various countries in the file.
Jizya
Corrected a province error in onme of the events and added about 30 more provinces to the list of those getting the Jizya events.
Large Nation Events
Reworked the sequences so that they happen more smoothly, and twice as designed. Then realized that the events cannot function correctly without a new triggering system. I had been fooling myself all this time. All these events are on hold until the Source Code Team completes its work.
Miscelaneous
Added cores to the events that grant cymric, sardinian, basque and dalmatian cultures.
Poland
Added events related to the Brandenburg Succession.
Saxony
Finally, after four years, enters the stage. Saxony is now effectively a Major, with the likely inheritance of Brandenburg in the 1450s. More events will be needed to make this state breathe, but a great start here.
Sicily
Added different costs and actions to the Shiyard event.
Added a flavour 'lead in' event for the North African sequence.
Teotonic Order
Now gets a core on Danzig if it controls it.
