Interregnum Beta 6.06 Uploaded Here

A busy last two weeks for everyone. Not as much new material as I would have liked, and the reworking of the Colonial files takes AGES.

Housekeeping

Added new flags/shields for the Reformed Provinces (Holland) and a cleaner shield set for Hansa.

Changed the trade goods, returning wool to represent wool and using tea to represent marginal production. Added a world-wide event that describes the use of tea for marginal production so that players are aware.

Removed the double entry for province 805 in the morocco_MOR.inc file that created the crash whenever Morocco was annexed.

Change the name of the Flavour events file to Miscellaneous, as it contains Gold events, natural disasters and other province-based events that are hardly 'flavour'.

Colonial Files

Divided the file into four for ease of use and so that it could be parsed using Katica. Colonial_NorthAm, Colonial_CAm_Carib, Colonial_SouthAm and Colonial RotW. Please no-one write to point out that Mexico is in North America.

Took out the Gold province events and placed them into the Miscellaneous file.

Reorganised the material. Now, each province has its own claims events, two for each. Then, if the region has a grouped identity (California, West Desert, Colombia etc) if you own the capital province and 50% of the others it triggers an event to claim the region, giving you cores on the others (but not shutting down the individual core-gaining events to other player, heh heh).

Checked through to make sure that the Peace at Last events actually closed down the province_revoltrisks.

Grouped all the events for each region together and renumbered the lot, giving lots of space within each block for additional events if required.

I have completed Colonial_NorthAm only at this point, which took about 20 hours. I will continue working on SouthAm and CAm_Carib over the next few weeks. RotW remains in its original Aberration form, pending the Interregnum changes to those regions.

Brittany

Added the events for the gaining/losing of AngloSaxon culture under the Full_Parlement choice, and the gaining of cores in those areas. nt. If certain provinces are captured in England, it triggers the expansion of parlement event, which leads to the gaining of that culture, certain cores and pushes Brittany toward either Naval (England) or Land (Gaul, when finished) and more leaders of the appropriate type. The full parlement approch allows for a moderate level of centralization for Brittany, less than Parlement Breizh, but more than for the Separated Parlements. However, in the Separated Parlements, it will be possible for Brittany to gain both Anglo Saxon and French Culture, losing them during the Reformation, and gaining them again later. However, at the price of being highly decentralized and gaining certain detrimental randoms.

Removed the La Rochelle event and reworked it for virtually any owner and relocated it to the Miscellaneous file.
