SCENARIO
Altered the scenario so that the Random events are an option that is normally set to ON and the Colonial events are an option normally set to OFF. (Merci aux contributeurs du francoforum! Bonne suggestion!)
CHINA ETC
Rebuilt most of the far east to roughly Ahmed's model. Most countries have their tech group raised to latin or orthodox, there are more nations and more religions active in the region, especially Traditional Islam (sunni) and a little Nestorian (orthodox). This is definitely a first draft, as the history is vague and the balance may not be there by a long shot. Note that there are no monarchs, events or leaders for most of these nations. MUCH work remains to be done. I even lack names for the four China succesor states, and I have accordingly named them China 1, China 2, China 3 and China 4. I have also included Mongolia as a rump of the old Yuan China, which could also easily be called Yuan, I suppose, which is a Nestorian Christian state.
INCA/PERU/ANDES
Rebuilt the region along the loines developed by orimazd. Remains largely without events, leaders and monarchs. The set up is historical, rather than alt-history, so we shall have to see how that will change through events.
INDIA
And again for India, this time the work of Calipah. There are country descriptions for India included, but again, no monarchs, leaders etc. A start, not a finish.
Bughunting
Ahmed found lots of little bugs in the Golden Horde new events, giving crazy RR and flags not being cleared. All resolved.
Asturias
Asturias is now the successor kingdom in Iberia, with the former Asturias being made Galicia.
Added an event file and other details for Asturias.
Asturias can now be created under certain conditions, including the existience of Cordoba (or Morocco), the other contending states either not inexistence or else vassals, ownership of seven Iberian provinces, and stability -1 or better.
Added a central Asturian event in which a decision is made on how to deal with the moors. The agressive approach means that expulsion events can happen which allow for the Iberianization of provinces with Andalusian culture. Taking a more inclusive approach to dominating Andalusian provinces can lead to gaining Andalusian culture and better trade relations with North Africa.
Subsequent to the choices in the previous event are the Expulsion events for each Andalusian culture province, which mirror those for Portugal. The events can either have a harsh action or a less harsh action, which effects whether the province changes its culture. Expelling a lot of the moors sends them to North Africa, which later affects Morocco, adding pop, infra, trade and upping the tech group to orthodox. Chosing to not expel the moors means no culture change events, of course. Instead you get the opportunity to bring in a system for dealing with muslims, a sort of aparteid, similar to how jews were often treated by Christian and Islamic states at that time. Enables you to get a -1 RR in all Andalusian culture provinces.
Cordoba
Added events relating to the reconquista in which they can flee Cordoba province in favour of North Africa.
Added events for the loss of the CoT in Cordoba province due to being surrounded by crusaders.
Galicia
Changed the nation of Asturias to Galicia with the tag AMG and altered all relevent files.
Added a new full monarch file and leaders, which can become the monarchs and leaders of Espana.
Caliphate
Added a missing event for Byzantium reconverting Kastamonu to Greek from Turkish culture.
Portugal
Added mirror events to those of Iberia for dealing with the moors and the Iberianization of Andalusian provinces.
Added an event for the gaining of a CoT in Tago.
Added an event for the building of a great shipyard.
Mali
Updated the Moor Embassador event to increase the date range and add Jolof to the effects. Added a starting army.
Jolof
Complete monarch file and a couple of monarch leaders.
Added a descriptionn for Jolof.
Added all of the basic Western African Tribalism and Player_Run events.
Added a starting army.
Benin and Ashanti
Added starting army.
Champa
Chammpa now has mississippian culture (chambani) and sunni as the main religion. Altered the DP sliders and upped the populations of most of its cities, and changed the capital to Da Lat. None of the events Ahmed has created are in yet, next upload. Promise.
Revolt.txt
Added to Porto, Asturias, Portugal and Leon that none of them can come into existence if Iberia exists.
Removed Nogai, Kazak and Songhai from the revolt list. These regions will have various revolters returned to them in the future, but not the historical ones.
Returned Catalunya, Lu Chuang and LuangPrabhan to the list of revolter states.
Random Events
Adjusted some of the anti-teching events to reflect an improved understanding of the infra.csv and trade.csv (thanks idont)
Housekeeping
Changed Dagestan to Caucasian and sunni at start.
Changed Iaroslav to Kazan as the city name for Kazan.
Improved the shields for Kalmar and Peru, which had the shading on the wrong layer.
Added shields/flags for Jolof, Iberia as either created by Portigal Porto, Navarra, Leon or Asturias.
Changed the remaining skipped Yorumba cultures to Ashanti (West African), except Fernando Po which is native.
Add scores of names to the armynames.csv and not just for SPA but many other countries as well, such as Wessex, York, Haudenosaunee etc.
Changed the provinces of Delhi, Bundelkhand, Awdah and Malwa to sunni. Changed Pondicherry, Sandat, Odisa, Tirhut, Koch, Ganges, Howrah, Bihar, Sambalpur, Madurai, Trivandrum to buddhism
Changed all references to Zapotec to Ben Zaa "People of the clouds" and all Aztec Empire to Azteca. Changed Zapotec culture to Ban Zaa and Azteca to Nahuatl.
Added Chambani culture using the mississippian culture tag. Made Da Lat to sunni faith, chambani culture and textiles. Changed Mekong Delta to sunni, Chambani and grain.
Added Upper Burmanese culture using the Hawaiian culture tag and gave it to two provinces owned by Lu Chuan in 1419.
