Just a quick introduction to MadMinute Games. I'm norb and I do all the coding for MMG. I'm also the CEO, tools developer, web site manager, forum host, game design, etc.

My partner is Adam. He's the lead designer, sound engineer, Art Lead, writer, level designer, etc.

We have a team of awesome volunteers. These guys are the testers, scenario designers, manual writers, etc. You'll see them here and on our forums. They are the life of the game.

You get the picture. We worked on this game for 3 years before our first release of CWBR through Activision Value. We spent and entire year working on the AI. It's that important. We both hold full time jobs during the day. I code sports simulation games in the daylight hours. We work on MMG during the nights, weekends, vacations, etc. We are just pursuing a dream of doing this all full time and Paradox is trying to help us with that. We're very excited to be here.

Our main forums are on our site. There's a lot of knowledge there about our games and how they play. But we'll also be checking here for questions. So please ask questions, download the demo from our first game from our website and you'll be able to have an idea about what we are about.

Hey norb. I purchased your first title, and for $19.99 I will say that I was impressed. I've looked over the second one and was very interested until I saw the price hike to $44.99. Bit steep for what is still a very small/new team. I'm sure it will be great, but I'm going to see how it plays out to determine if i purchase it. Great work again on the first one.

Actually, I think the price is going to be in the $39 range. The higher price you are refering to was the price if 2nd Manassas was going to be self-published.

Before Paradox came into the picture the plan was to sell through an online PC game store called NWS. The director there, Chris, has been very helpful in getting this game rolling and that's an understatement. Without a publisher, projections were less sales and therefore a higher starting price. Anyone who pre-ordered is going to be credited by NWS though in some way so it's all good.

Paradox is going to retail the game at $39.99 and it will be worth every penny. That penny statement is from someone with the beta. ;)

If you liked Bull Run, you will love TC2M. The improvements to both the AI and maps are well worth the price increase alone. Add the improved uniforms and options for open play and you have something well worth much more. I've been playing with the Beta since it was made available and I still find new things to gawk at.

I purchased the first game nearly a year ago, and I am still playing it several times a week, and enjoying it a lot. The $39.99 price for TC2M seems to be a bargain for the quality entertainment value. I spent that in taking the family to a movie tonight.

Never seen your games in Australia. Which is a shame.

The price will be 39.99. Which I think is a fair price for what you get.

$40 for a good game is a bargain....especially considering all the $ I've wasted over the years on crappy games.

Anyways, liked your 1st game...looking forward to the 2nd. Good job on getting Paradox on board with ya and I wish you guys the best of luck!

You will now. ;)

Thanks for the replies. I know it will be a quality game, as the first one was. As I stated once on the MMG boards, I always pull for the small dev teams/companys. I wish you great sucess on this title and hope to see a third. I think my point of my first post was that I won't buy this one on an impulse as I did for the first one.

Is paradox as publisher aiming for a world wide simultaneous release?

"the game is to be released on April 18 in most markets."

Well lets hope Australia is included in "most markets".

if its a paradox distributed game you'll see it in australian stores. EB australia will have it, at least.

i bought CW bullrun over the internet and even persisted after gamestop.com stuffed up my order - the australian address confused someone along the line - and only gave me a partial refund the bastards

but i got it in the end and it was well worth it. i still play it regularly. best game of its type i reckon, better engine & graphics than any other competitor and that was just the first cut!

i was over the moon when paradox picked up the distribution - two of my favourite games companies teaming up - madminute really deserves the break.

best of luck guys
