Invalid ports?

OK, for the first time I'm trying to play a MP game with some folks. We've determined that there is an issue with my firewall after a few tests. I've read the FAQ and other pages, but I can't seem to reconfigure my hardware firewall to accept the incoming port ranges.

I'm running WinXP (firewall disabled), McAfee Security Center (w/Firewall but HOI2.exe added), and a Belkin Wireless G. Router (hardware # F5D7230-4.

There's a page in the router setup to add virtual servers to route traffic. But when I add try to add the port range specified in sticky Step by Step router setup:
2300-2400
28800-29000
47400-47700

I get an error message of invalid port #'s. I've also tried individual ports listed in this forum (like 47624) and I get the same message.

on my router there is a port limit of 20, maybe you got the same issue ? Or maybe you're just entering the information incorrectly ?

It should work fine from what you explain. A screenshot might help

NEVERMIND

I'm not certain if it'll work, but there was another place that I had to add the port info, so it took on my router. Thanks for the reply M & M.
