Ironmade mode can not be activated

Hi, I played the ironman mode in my first game after the tutorial. Now I would like to play my second game, but I can not activate the ironman mode. The software told me, that I have to be logged in with steam; i started the game from steam!
Even, I can not save the data in the steam cloud. In other games exists an option to select where the game data shall be stored.
I bought the deluxe edition. Where can I customize the uniforms, for example?
