Hey folks,

Just a quick check-in to see if anyone who experienced this issue previously is experiencing this issue since the update this morning on a new save.

Feel free to yell at me below. :)

We tried new mp game, 2 players, both on Series X and noticed no stuttering so far.

But still regular desync. Not sure if we can continue or need to restart/reload the game.

The trick with desyncs is to catch them right away. As soon as someone desyncs, pause and have them rejoin. If they desync on hotjoin, finish the year on normal, and keep playing until they're impacted. Then save and rehost, or have them rejoin.

The desync issue isn't a simple fix, unfortunately. :confused:

Can you say that the issue with the stuttering is fixable and if yes in a hopefull soon to come hotfix or rather a patch in the next few months?

After trying to play tonight I can say the game is unplayable as is on ps5 the stuttering only gets worse as the years progress had a small battle with maybe a dozen ships and game dam near froze before patch 3.0 game ran as smooth as silk hope this can be fixed or it might be R.I.P to stellaris for me

We will try. But when desync pops up the other player is usually still in the game. It pauses and shows the Popup.

With Hotfix 1 going back to the menu and hosting the game again worked so far.

But we didn't save and reloaded the last save before the error. Don't know if anything breaks when saving after the desync.
 
honestly i do not see a single fix after this so called fix. can i get my money back from lithoids or can you do a roll back to a working version? this is getting annoying

Nothing changed after the patch, new save a uninstall and a reinstall damn near unplayable, ships tiking as the days roll by, kinda spoils any battle and any photo opportunities, this is one of my favorite games. :(
I hope they address this soon.

i do not get it. it is not like we are playing on different pc configs, we all play on xbox or ps. testing the game for 5 min and you know the fix is garbage
It’s as if they didn’t test it at all as this would be visable as soon as the game began testing it’s pretty stupid this wasn’t picked up just roll us back to previous version as was already mentioned then fix and release at least we can play the game then...

Since the update my game is running really, really badly. Basically everything is in slow motion.. ships stutter around. Menus move slowly. After a while at the start of every month the game freezes for a few seconds. It's just super clunky. Like my xbox has a virus or something

Communication by Paradox is a disgrace and Tantalus seems to be clueless on how to fix the game
I don't want to be too hard on them but It's not great, is it?.. if it was free to play then fair enough but we've spent a ton of money on this thing.. I mean.. did anybody bother play testing??.. how on earth did this past play testing?

i opened a ticket on the day dlc came out. answer was the devs „might“ be fixing it. ticket was closed by PD this week without a comment after zero activity
Man that's terrible. I'll be tempted to ask for a refund soon if they don't do something or at least announce they are trying to do something. Semi feel like I've been conned
