is it possible to change the game language?

My friend bought me Europa Universalis game, but it is in a strange language and I dont understand it :S
Is there any sort of patch or something to make the game eork in English language

The stock answer is no, you have to buy the correct language version, EU2 is pretty cheap now.

However, if you download the latest patch most of the game text will be English language.
