I always play with counters on, so I don't care much about sprites etc, but I would like to have the icons indicating troop type a little more accurate if possible, I'm talking about these:

It would really add to my experience if the fighter plane was not a Ta-152 regardless if my best fighter is pre-war stringbag or a Me-262 jet fighter.

Any hope?

Nope. No chance.

In a nutshell, any of those icons can be changed to anything you'd like. For instance, you could make one of those 'unit-type' icons show a hot little Me-262. Unfortunately, it still wouldn't be 'model-related' so the Me-262 would always show for every aircraft regardless of model.

Bummer, but not a game-killer by any stretch of the imagination. :D

Indeed, hardly a gamekiller. :D

Its vexing, though, this could hardly have been so difficult when compared to the different animated sprites...
