Is Multiplayer happening?

I would really like to get into this game with multiplayer, but I'm at a loss as to finding other players, how to hook up, how long it would take, etc....

Is the multiplayer happening? Is it just a few fragmented souls trying to make in the cruel world of EU?

I have been finding it difficult to hook up with other people. I think mainly because there is no organiztion behind it. This board is also not the greatest place to look for a game, because it is very low traffic. I tried to place a message on the general discussion (much higher traffic) and it gets moved back here where none will see it.

Good work Robo, but EU really does need and active server or at least a chat room for viable connections between interested players.........
Until then we are doomed to remain passing ships in the night.........
