I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. I hadn't noticed before since I usually make sure life support is fine before attaching a new dome to the network but recently a built a Geoscape away from my main colony and forgot the moxie when I was setting it up. Then people move in and live there just fine. Apparently the Geoscope had zero O2 demand? Is this intended? It doesn't look like it has that much growing in it that you can have 100+ people living in it with no oxygen supply.

I see the same, so I doubt it's a bug.

Geo Dome consumes 10 Water opposed to the Mega Dome's 4 (and 4 Oxygen), so I'd say the resources consumption is a dawback overall.
But it's a unique wonder unlocked by the most expesnive tech anyways so even if it was overpowered I don't think it would be a problem.

Lore-wise: the tech that unlocks it is called "Localized Terraforming", so that kind of explains why it doesn't need Oxygen.

It's supposed to be "Earthlike" which implies lots of plantlife within the dome compared to a regular one. That's where you're seeing the extra oxygen.

Yeah, thing is it doesn't appear to have a lot of plant life, it's got a few scraggy bushes in the rocks at the center and the rest is just the fake turf the rest of the domes have out to the simulated beaches.

It does have a couple of useful features, if you build it with a hanging garden spire then you can get a really high pop in there as even appartments end up with around 100 comfort. and that daily sanity recharge effect it has makes it great for working night shifts as it cancels out the penalty. So mine usally runs a couple of polymer factories and some fusion plants to keep the pop occupied and take advantage of its bonus effect.
