Is the second Steam key ever used ?

Hello everyone,

I have installed the new version of Teleglitch with an upgrade key and every time I launch the game, Steam gives me a CD key (which is different from the key I used to unlock) and tells me the game will ask for it when it starts, however the game never asks for anything. Should I just disregard this ?

I just bought this game new on Steam and I too get this message.

When I click "play", Steam shows me the CD key telling me the game will ask for it. But the game never does...

Also I believe the soundtrack came with this purchase? How do I get that.

Is that the box that has an option saying "Dont show this message again"?

If so, you can safely select that box and ignore the message.

I used the CD-key the game gave me when I start it to register my purchase on this forum... the CD-key I got when I bought the game (or preordered) wasn't valid for the forum apparently...

That is indeed the only purpose of that CD key.

If you go to "My Games" here at the forums you can can chose to display a fancy icon under your avatar (see to the left of this post)
