I have tried to play Stellaris in 3840x2160 resolution on my 4k display, but all the text and UI graphics are super-tiny, so I had to switch to 1080p which is a shame.

Is there a way to make UI larger on 4k?

I changed it to 1.7 and it made it much better. Just have to get used to making sure that I have the item that I am right-clicking on in the left portion of the screen, so that I can actually see the context menu that pops up. It is workable - thanks.

I'm using a 4K, too. UI works fine with 1440p, that's 4:3 (+33%) compared to 1080p. I've tried 2160p which is another 3:2 (+50%) but the UI becomes too tiny to be satisfying. Instead of playing Stallaris, EU IV, ... in 4K with 1.5 scaling I switch to 2560x1440 without scaling.
