Is there an ancient greece mod?

What I'm looking for is something that starts around the beginning of the Greco-Persion War and ends with the Roman expansion of Greece.

It doesn't have to be a mod about this specifically, but maybe a mod that takes place elsewhere in the world around the same time that lets you play as Persia or Greece.

If there isn't a mod like this already, how much effort is required in creating such a mod?

Okay as I don't know much about all those EU2 mods I can't answer your question BUT due to my visionary skills I can tell you that you just watched '300' and know want to combine your favorite history game (EU2) with the enthusiasm for ancient greece you got by the movie.

Not that I'm aware of. However there is the Roma Universalis, that starts at the beginning at the second punic war which would be the closest.

I did start a scenario dealing with the rise (and fall) of Persia, that would end not too long after Alexanders conquests, however I never made enough to actually post anything about it on the forum.

Hey, harry, I just clicked to this link after reading FiftyPence's Odyssean World scenario. It starts at the beginning of the Trojan War, but perhaps it will extend to the Persian wars. 300 was AWESOME, btw.
