Is this a bug or is something wrong with my computer?

Hi, there. Recently, I went in the Paradox forums to fix the manpower bug that was eating away at my troops. For those who are unfamiliar with this, I refer to the Sticky: Quickfix for the manpower bug in 1.2 patch in the main Paradox Hearts of Iron 2 Forum by Barkdreg. After going in the misc.txt file and changing it, I went to play the game. Now, the game shows the opening credits and allows me to select a country. But it stops at "Initializing Script," forever stuck, like the machine isn't working after I choose a country. Did the fix affect the computer or should I send a DXDIAG?

Well I would say something went wrong with your fix.

Undo exactly what you did, then see if it is back to working.
